We have visited 520 places
During our journeys we visit many places. We choose those that are characteristic of a given country or region and those that interest us because of the monuments, museums, national parks, wonders of modern architecture or simply beautiful views. If we are already in a city, we try to explore it thoroughly, entering museums, galleries or historic buildings as far as possible. We also do not forget about relaxation while visiting. It is worth eating lunch or drink coffee in a beautiful environment with a breathtaking view. This is not always possible, but you have to try. Visiting many places, even small towns or villages gives a different perspective and allows you to get to know the country and people better. Another advantage of this way of traveling is the fact that in small towns and in the province a tourist is perceived differently by the locals, which often results in establishing cordial contacts. There's no point in rushing. It is better to visit a few places carefully than a dozen briefly.
The term "our places" means cities, towns or separate objects such as archaeological sites, temple complexes, national parks, reserves, natural wonders, etc., which required a long time to get to. The places we visited are described by markers on the Google world map above. After clicking the marker, a tab with the name of the place and a link opens. After clicking the link, a page with our photos from that place opens. They are placed on one tab, and at the very bottom of it there is a link to a page with all the photos and descriptions from the entire trip.
Many people think that putting magnets on the refrigerator is very embarrassing. We have a different opinion. We don't just treat them as souvenirs from trips. These are our memories ! Photos reminiscent of travels undertaken are either on the hard drive in computer, or in a photo album lying on a bookshelf somewhere. However, magnets are at hand, We look at them every day. After all, we are in the kitchen many times a day, day after day, all year round. When we buy magnets we choose them so that they best reflect the character of a given country, region, city or most famous monument. Each of them evokes others memories allows us to return for a moment in our imagination to the places we visited and liked. And that's very cool !
