Paul Cezanne, a french post-impressionist painter, whose work is a bridge between impressionism and cubism, was born, lived and worked in Aix en Provance. I had the pleasure of seeing the master's atelier and admiring his paintings in the Granet museum. However, what impressed me the most was the St. Savior cathedral, built on the ruins of a roman temple. The monumental building houses naves built in different periods - romanesque, gothic and baroque.
